Our Crerar Road accommodation facility provides predominately an Indigenous accommodation service comprising of a 190-bed shared visitor accommodation over two adjacent properties. The Crerar Road accommodation facility provides a home away from home experience to our participants who come to town for medical appointments shopping catching up with family or sporting addition to this we provide renal and homeless accommodation.
About the Role
The Case Worker delivers timely participant-centered intake and case management for people experiencing crisis accommodation needs at Crerar Road.
Working with the multi-disciplinary team the Case Worker supports housing stability and wellbeing facilitates referrals and encourages participation in site activities.
What we are looking for
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Certificate III or above) in social work community services welfare or a related field OR equivalent experience in crisis homelessness or case management support
- Strong case management assessment and planning skills
- Effective communication culturally responsive practice and advocacy skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a diverse multi-disciplinary team.
