Schedule: MondayFriday Occasional Saturdays
Pay: $31.25/hour
Location: Minden Nevada
We are seeking a Shipping Manager to lead the daily operations of our shipping department. This hands-on leadership role ensures accurate timely and cost-effective delivery of goods while managing team performance shipping schedules and coordination with carriers.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all shipping activities
Lead and supervise the shipping team providing training and task delegation
Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations
Work with ERP systems shipping software and carrier platforms (UPS FedEx LTL etc.)
Drive continuous improvement in shipping processes
Monitor department safety and compliance
Requirements:
24 years of experience in shipping logistics or warehouse management
Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping procedures and regulations
Proficiency with shipping platforms and ERP systems
Proven leadership experience
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Comfortable working in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
Willingness to work extended hours during peak periods
Preferred:
Experience with lean logistics or continuous improvement initiatives
Forklift certification or familiarity with warehouse equipment
Bilingual in English and Spanish
