Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting in the administration of a comprehensive compliance program that includes rules education monitoring reporting and general support of the compliance efforts of all student-athletes staff and external constituents. Provide administrative support to the Compliance Office. Relieve supervisor from select Compliance initiatives in the areas of monitoring and rules education.
Essential Functions:
30% Prepare and execute paperwork for prospective student-athletes current student-athletes coaches and staff and external entities.
20% Other duties as assigned by Associate AD for Compliance or the athletics leadership team.
10% Manage system of distribution of student-athlete post-eligibility and auxiliary student athletics aid.
10% Support Associate AD for Compliance in developing and implementing athletics compliance policies and procedures.
10% Develop and implements educational initiatives for student-athletes staff and external constituents.
10% Provide support in the implementation and maintenance of the athletics compliance database its workflows and other functions.
10% Monitor institutional recruiting systems including but not limited to coach recruiting activities and acts as a liaison in the process of admitting incoming student-athletes and certifying their eligibility.
Education:
Requires a relevant bachelors degree.
Licenses/Certifications/Requirements:
None.
Experience:
Requires a minimum of I year working experience in an NCAA Athletics Department with a minimum of 6 months in NCAA Compliance required. Basic computer knowledge including capabilities in word processing spreadsheet and database software packages required. Strong interpersonal problem-solving and research skills required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible in evolving compliance landscapes required.
