Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Job Description
Mange Test environments facilitate deployments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development QA operations project management) to ensure smooth and timely deployments to the target environments.
Tracking & ensuring the desired content is deployed to an environment.
Lead Go-Live activities including deployment planning execution and post-release support.
Conduct release readiness reviews milestone reviews and business go/no-go decisions.
Maintain release documentation including runbooks implementation plans and release notes.
Identify and manage risks related to release schedule and quality.
Continuously improve release processes and tools to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Track and report release metrics and KPIs to stakeholders.
Monitor progress of software releases from inception to delivery.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful releases
Develop and implement release branching & merging strategies and schedules
Identify and manage risks that may affect release schedule and quality
Conduct Release Readiness reviews Milestone Reviews and Business Go/No-Go reviews
Communicate release details and schedules to the stakeholders
Lead and coordinate release activities with Project Management Development QA and Operations teams
Provide continuous improvement feedback to the release process
Required skills
Bachelors or masters degree or equivalent degree with 6-10 years
Proven experience as a Release Manager or in a similar role in software development or IT operations.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) branching & merging strategy and DevOps practices.
Experience with release management tools (e.g. Jenkins Git Jira Azure DevOps).
Excellent project management communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple releases simultaneously.
Familiarity with SAFe Agile Scrum and ITIL methodologies.
Preferred skills
Experience in Insurance Domain (Non-Life insurance preferred)
Certifications on Agile/Release Managemnt
Experience to customize Test Automation Framework
Experience with CI/CD pipeline management (Jenkins/Git/Bitbucket/ Bamboo)
Experienced in Agile / Scrum methodology and familiar with tools like Jira Confluence Splunk
Excellent technical leadership and communication skills with proven ability in collaborating with clients onsite counterparts third party vendors & team members
