See More. Know More. Do More.......Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a civilian Medical Receptionist in our Behavioral Health Unit
Location: Fairfax Ambulatory Care Clinic Fairfax VA Schedule: Full-Time-Monday-Friday Schedule 7am-3:30pm EST
Requirements:
- The job qualifications for this position are as follows: A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- One year of experience as an administrative technician in medical environment using full range of equipment used in medical office environment
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications Excel PowerPoint Word and Outlook
- Shall be able to read write and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members.
- Have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in the use of basic word processing data entry and automated records.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must have either an active passport with current legal name or DMV Drivers License with REAL ID

What Youll Do but Not Linitied to:
Perform receptionist duties and other various clerical tasks to assist staff members as necessary
Check in/register patients and convey patients needs between providers and nurses
Answer inquiries verify and obtain information for general public customers visitors and update the Data system if needed
Verify patient information and make correction if needed with each request for an outpatient visit. Responsible for registering new patients in the Composite Health Care system
