1:1 Autism LSA Cambridge ASAP
We are thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for a committed 1:1 Autism Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a vibrant school in Cambridge!
This role is perfect for those eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with Autism. The school holds a Good Ofsted rating and is home to a skilled and friendly team focused on delivering outstanding education to every student.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to students with Autism assisting them in their academic personal and social development
- Tailor learning strategies to meet the unique needs of each student ensuring they thrive both academically and socially
- Offer behavioural guidance supporting students in overcoming challenges and gaining independence in their learning
- Work alongside teachers and other experts to ensure the best possible support for each student
- This role is both a challenge and deeply rewarding offering the chance to create a lasting effect on the lives of children with Autism
What Were Looking For:
- A relevant degree from a top 30 UK University (e.g. Psychology)
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs particularly those on the Autistic spectrum is essential
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both students and staff
- Patience empathy and a strong desire to help students with additional needs progress
- A deep passion for supporting children in overcoming obstacles and reaching their full potential
