Mammography Tech- Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammographic imaging procedures (screening and diagnostic).
• Ensure patient comfort safety and confidentiality throughout the imaging process.
• Accurately position patients and equipment to capture optimal diagnostic images.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures performed.
• Ensure compliance with state federal and accreditation regulations and quality control standards.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists technologists and support staff.
• Operate mammography equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain credentials and stay updated on imaging best practices.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience is required.

Certifications/Licenses:

• Basic Life Support (BLS): Must have current BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT): Must be licensed by Texas.
• ARRT Certification:
  • ARRT-R (Radiography) Required
  • ARRT-M (Mammography) Required
• Texas State Licensure: Must hold a valid and active license as a Radiologic Technologist in Texas.
