Job Description

Cardiovascular Cath Lab Tech (Permanent Role)
Location: Port Saint Lucie FL 34952
Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations angioplasties and electrophysiology procedures.
  • Operate and maintain Cath Lab imaging equipment.
  • Prepare patients for procedures including positioning and monitoring vital signs.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient data.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Perform QA/QC on equipment and report issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cardiovascular Tech or ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist with Cath Lab experience.
  • ARRT (R) certification is required if coming from a radiology background.
  • RCIS or RCES certification.
  • BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
  • Strong knowledge of sterile techniques cardiac anatomy and Cath Lab procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
