Business Analyst / Project Coordinator (Legacy System Upgrade)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst / Project Coordinator to support multiple ongoing initiatives within the Legacy System platform for New York operations.The role will involve business analysis data mapping technical coordination and project management support across system replacement and upgrade projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Analyze existing system flows and processes within Legacy applications.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst preferably in infrastructure and cash management domains.
- Strong understanding of investment banking operations treasury functions and cash flow management
- Document business requirements and work with stakeholders from New York Head Office (Japan) and vendors
- Reconcile and analyze flows mandated for migration by Head Office.
- Data Analysis & Mapping
- Perform SQL-based analysis of existing database structures and tables.
- Develop mappings between legacy modules and new/replacement systems.
- Support reconciliation and validation of migrated data flows.
- Project Coordination & Documentation
- Assist with project management activities including tracking deliverables maintaining documentation and supporting implementation planning.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams (infrastructure networking and operations) to ensure timely execution of technical requests (server creation firewall changes AD groups SFTP setup).
- Technical Liaison & Support
- Act as a bridge between business users IT teams and external vendors.
- Participate in weekly coordination meetings with Head Office (8 PM New York time).
- Ensure effective communication across global teams (New York Japan India UK).
Required Qualifications
- Strong Business Analysis skills with experience in system flows and requirements documentation.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis mapping and reconciliation.
- Understanding of Windows infrastructure concepts networking basics (firewalls ports) and data transfer mechanisms (SFTP MQ).
- Experience supporting system migrations upgrades or replacement projects.
- Strong documentation and project coordination skills.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work across global teams and stakeholders.
