Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Skilled Operator Heat Shrink Wrap
Location: Red Oak
Reports To: Warehouse-Logistics Supervisor
Pay: $20/hr.
End of week schedule-Thursday Friday Saturday
Start Time : 6am-6pm
Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Skilled Operator you will be responsible for applying heat shrink wrap to electrical equipment and industrial components to ensure safe and secure packaging for transit and storage. Your work directly supports commitment to delivering high-quality protected products to customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to read speak and understand English
- Previous experience in packaging warehouse operations or industrial wrapping preferred.
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate heat guns and other wrapping tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Prepare electrical components machinery and pallets for shrink wrapping.
- Apply heat shrink wrap using industrial heat guns and tools to create tight weather-resistant seals.
- Ensure wrapping provides protection against environmental factors such as dust moisture and physical damage.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to meet shipping schedules and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in alignment with 5S and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Accurately document packaging activities and report any issues or damages to supervisors.
- Pick and pull materials according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to submit to a background and drug test and meet client hiring requirements
- Must have 6 months experience
