Job Title: PMO Support Planning Specialist

Job Summary:
- Responsible for leading that groups Technical Specialists. Responsibilities may include but not limited to: Forecasting needs of the Project and Platform teams based upon Stellantis PDP deliverables
- Primary interface is with the Project and Platform/Modules CVE Quality Cost Technical *Planning (QCTP) Manager and Project Management Office (PMO) QTP Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordination and Support: Acting as a deputy to the Vehicle Technical Manager the Technical Specialist manages the technical aspects of the project including overseeing the technical pillar coordinating connections and fasteners and engaging with engineering teams for change management. The role requires a basic understanding and cross-functional knowledge. The Technical Specialist will be involved in various stages of the project from proto build to interim containment fixes and will work closely with the planning manager and planning specialist to identify and execute plans.
- Technical Management: The Technical Specialist tracks sourcing works with purchasing counterparts and coordinates the creation and organization of connections and fasteners. This includes organizing meetings to coordinate the technical core teams activities and identifying roadblocks. The role also involves defining follow-up and final KPIs with the Technical Manager and preparing and coordinating change management meetings. The Technical Specialist coordinates engineering teams ensures feasibility and executes changes including multi-site coordination and quality convergence.
- Product and Process Convergence: The Technical Specialist coordinates product and process convergence particularly for welding painting and assembly. This includes supporting builds engaging specific groups based on issues and participating in modification batches organization. The role also involves supporting defect-solving coordination for main defects and coordinating vehicle rework during the project.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry at an OEM or large tier 1 in product development engineering.
- Highly motivated detail-oriented and self-directed process thinker.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Strong written and presentation skills.
- Advanced to expert skill level in using Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to compile and present data clearly.
- Ability to interface with all levels of management.
- Full program life-cycle experience.
- Understanding of Stellantis PDP.
- Launch experience is a plus.
- Understanding of manufacturing process fundamentals.
- Ability to quickly learn the use of proprietary Stellantis software.
