Job Title: Information Technology (IT) Assistant

Position Overview
EMCOR Hyre Electric Co. of Indiana Inc. seeks motivated candidate to perform entry level technical responsibilities. Provide technical assistance to computer users. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for employees. May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software including printing installation word processing electronic mail and operating systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Desktop computer support
Address user tickets regarding hardware software and networking (troubleshoot networking issues software conflicts hardware issues process user moves and changes)
Mobile device support
Mobile phone configuration (assign phone to specific user configure email deploy required applications set device security)
Asset inventory management
Enter new equipment into tracking system database (receives equipment deploys asset tag records equipment specifications and serial numbers)
Computer setup
Computer imaging (use of MDT to apply the current image using the computer naming standard creation of the user account and accesses)

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English cooperate and collaborate with multiple levels of customer employees unions government agencies vendors and suppliers and other contractor organizations.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to commute to field locations. The employee must have the ability to navigate around job site locations.
