Job Summary

Assistant Manager Food-Led Pub Cranleigh

Were currently working with a well-established independently run food-led pub in the heart of Cranleigh and theyre on the lookout for a talented and ambitious Assistant Manager to join their friendly and professional front-of-house team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of pub management experience who thrives in a fast-paced customer-focused environment and is looking to grow within a supportive team that values quality personality and high standards.

The Role

As Assistant Manager youll be hands-on and involved in all aspects of the pubs daily operations including:

Supporting the General Manager in leading a busy front-of-house team
Managing cellar operations stock levels and beer line maintenance
Ensuring exceptional guest experiences across both bar and dining areas
Supporting rota planning training and team development
Upholding all health & safety and licensing regulations
Taking the lead on shifts and being the go-to person when the GM is off-site

This is a genuinely food-led pub so youll need to be comfortable working in tandem with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service from start to finish.

What Were Looking For

Minimum 2 years experience as a Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a pub setting
Strong cellar management knowledge and bar operations experience
Confident managing a team in a fast-paced food-led environment
Passionate about hospitality with a warm and professional approach
A calm and organised presence especially during busy service times
A keen eye for detail standards and smooth service delivery
A personal licence would be a bonus but not essential
