Job Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions

Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Facilitate interactive in-person and virtual trainings for diverse audiences including orientations leadership workshops and skill-based sessions (soft skills compliance safety).
  • Adapt delivery style pace and activities to suit audience needs and learning styles.
  • Use engagement techniques such as discussions polls breakout groups and scenario-based exercises to boost participation and retention.

Content Design & Development

  • Design and develop training materials presentations facilitator guides and participant resources.
  • Create e-learning modules and microlearning content for the LMS applying adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
  • Collaborate with the team on creative direction for training content.

Program Coordination & LMS Management

  • Upload and manage content in the LMS ensuring accurate tracking reporting and accessibility compliance.
  • Maintain training schedules track attendance and monitor completion rates for online courses.
  • Collect and analyze participant feedback to improve training content and delivery.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current on learning trends facilitation methods and e-learning technologies.
  • Research innovative strategies to increase learner engagement and retention.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education

  • A bachelors degree in human resources Education or a related field.

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in training and development preferably in a scientific or educational organization.

Physical Requirements

This position has the following special requirements:

  • Walking and climbing (stairs) to/from buildings to access other departments.
  • Sitting for long periods (4-6 hours) behind a desk when developing training materials.
  • Pushing carrying and lifting items equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds to waist high.
  • Sight reading wrist movements and feeling to operate a computer terminal.
  • Speaking and listening to effectively lead training sessions and respond to follow-up questions.

Eligibility Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Environmental Factors

  • This position involves working in a climate-controlled office environment.
  • This position may involve travel to job fairs community events and conferences.

Expected Hours of Work: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekend work though rare may occur depending on business needs.
