Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning

  • Develop and implement a recruitment strategy that aligns with the Centers goals and values.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs.
  • Develop and implement best practices for candidate screening interviewing and selection.
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning of new programs/strategies and regulatory action as those items affect the attraction motivation development and retention of the people resources of the organization.
  • Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies industries and markets.

Budgeting

  • Develop and manage recruitment budgets to ensure the most cost-effective approach to recruitment.
  • Develop and manage recruitment metrics to track the effectiveness of the recruitment process.
  • Manage the budget and other financial measures of the recruiting department.

Sourcing

  • Build and maintain relationships with colleges and universities to attract summer employees and entry-level talent.
  • Stay up to date on recruitment trends and technologies to continuously improve the recruitment process.
  • Identify talent within and outside the organization for positions of responsibility.
  • Identify appropriate and effective external sources for candidates for all levels within the organization.
  • Partner with the media team to utilize social media and other platforms to attract top talent and build the Centers employer brand.
  • Develop programs to allow the organization to embrace applicants and employees of all backgrounds.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes

  • Manage and mentor the recruitment team to ensure they are meeting recruitment goals and objectives.
  • This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Level of Supervision: Manager

Travel Required: Yes locally and nationally.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education

  • Bachelors degree.

Preferred Education

  • Bachelors degree in human resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • SHRM-SCP certification.

Required Experience

  • 7 or more years of experience in recruitment including at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment metrics and the ability to analyze data to improve the recruitment process.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with UKG.
  • Experience with staffing in the customer service industry.
  • Experience with staffing executive-level positions.
  • Experience with staffing large-scale seasonal positions.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and listen.
  • This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.
  • This is a full-time position and business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Longer hours evenings and weekend work may be necessary on occasion.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
