Job Description

Were seeking someone to join our diverse team of audit and assurance professionals as a business auditor to support the India and Asia Internal Audit team in identifying assessing and driving resources to areas of key risks and vulnerabilities in the Institutional Securities Group (ISG) through evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of related controls.

In the Audit division we provide senior management an objective and independent assessment of the Firms internal control environment for risk management and governance. This is an Associate level position within the Internal Audit Department.

What youll do in the role:

  • Support the Asia NFR audit team in performing audit risk assessments planning execution and reporting.
  • Participate in all phases of the audit including planning fieldwork execution and reporting across regional and applicable global audits. This includes drafting and communicating audit findings to the Audit Coverage Managers Audit Coverage Directors and senior key stakeholders outside the audit department.
  • Meet with key stakeholders both within and outside the audit department as part of continuous monitoring of NFR activities to monitor and assess risk within the NFR functions of the Firm.
  • Develop an understanding of the Firms businesses and NFRs processes/controls in the region to be able to communicate the NFR impact of any significant changes to colleagues

What youll bring to the role:

  • At least 3 years or more of relevant experience in external or internal audit or 2nd line of defense control functions with knowledge of the financial services sector and regulatory landscape. Experience in regulatory risk operational risk financial crimes or compliance would be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking strong risk and control mindset good project management skills strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the drive to develop independent viewpoints and innovative ideas.
  • Communicates complex matters succinctly and effectively both orally and in writing
  • Self-initiated and a proven team player in collaboration and supporting team members.
  • Able to effectively manage multiple deliverables while delivering high-quality work
  • Language skills in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
  • University bachelor post graduate degree or relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CAMS etc.).

Coverage

  • Hybrid working (4 days in office) Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM India time with flexibility on standard working hours for time sensitive matters (including India Public Holidays).
