Your Role
Asan integral part of our office operations you will play a crucial role in patient collections and claims management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to completing billing-related activities accurately on time and with exceptional customer service.
What youll do:
- Contact patients to collect outstanding balances explain payment options and answer any billing-related questions.
- Prepare statements for billing purposes.
- Process and complete patients postings.
- Confirm and mail reimbursement checks to clients.
- Collaborate with other members of the billing team.
- Collect process and allocate funds.
- Update and maintain patient accounts.
- Work closely with insurance claims specialists to ensure accuracy and completeness.
About You
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in billing or a related field is preferred.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic knowledge of administrative and clerical operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in computer skills including knowledge of standard office software (e.g. word processing spreadsheets email) and ability to quickly learn software applications.
