Job Summary
Description of the role:
University Home Care Inc in Inkster MI is seeking a caring and compassionate Caregiver Assistant to join our team. As a Caregiver Assistant you will work closely with our residents to provide assistance with daily activities and ensure their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Assist with light housekeeping duties
- Report any changes in residents health or behavior to the supervising nurse
Requirements:
- Pass a background check
- Two forms of ids
- Own/ reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move residents as needed
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
