Job Description

Work Flexibility: Hybrid or Onsite

This role will be based in one of our Cork sites.

Throughout the placement you will be an integral part of Strykers 2025 Cooperative cohort. Tasks and responsibilities may include:

  • Together with your Stryker team leader and college supervisor identify a Finance improvement project along with project objectives scope success factors milestones and evaluation
  • Involvement in financial month end process (posting journals reporting liaising with our shared service center etc)
  • Input into budgeting process through taking responsibility for budget inputs working with the business to set the appropriate budgets and projections and holding others accountable for performance against targets
  • Forecasting on a quarterly monthly and weekly basis
  • Assist the team in the tracking of capital spent and monitoring site spend and inventory movements
  • Support compliance and internal/external audit activities

What you will need:

  • Currently enrolled in a university course in Finance Accounting Economics Business or other related courses for the duration of the placement
  • Honesty and integrity; must comply with the quality system regulations and company policies
  • Self-motivated flexible and hardworking - enjoys working in a dynamic fast and results orientated environment
  • Reliable dependable and punctual
  • Organised focused and capable of multi-tasking
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with a basic level of PC skills
  • Is a team player and capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team
  • Available for either 6 9 or 12 months exact duration and start date to be discussed with your Talent Acquisition Business Partner at Stryker
