Whats the role

Join Westpacs Chief Operating Office within the Risk Division as a Senior Manager in the 2nd Line Assurance team. Youll provide oversight insight and challenge to ensure effective governance and risk management across both delivery and delivered risks.

This role plays a key part in delivering assurance reviews across large-scale transformation programs with a strong focus on UNITE.

This is a Permanent fulltime role based in Sydney with flexible hybrid working arrangements available.

What do I need

Were looking for someone who brings:

  • Extensive experience in project assurance internal audit and/or project risk in change
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile) and related tools
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across complex programs
  • Experience producing and presenting insightful reporting to risk committees and governance forums
  • Skills in data-driven analysis using tools such as Alteryx Power BI or Copilot
  • A proactive outcomes-driven mindset with strong customer focus and relationship-building skills
