The Department of Languages Cultures and Applied Linguistics at Carnegie Mellon University seeks to
appoint a creative writer with native or near-native proficiency in French for a two-year fellow position
with possible renewal for an additional year. Applicants must have a record of publication in poetry with
a focus on issues in French and Francophone cultures and a minimum of a Bachelors degree. The
successful fellow will devote their time to advancing their creative writing with occasional opportunities
to teach.
Applicants must be eligible for CMUs Artists and Scholars at Risk Program and apply through the
International Cities of Refuge Network (ICORN).
