Job Description

About the role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Manager / Wellness Manager to join our team at St Clare Retirement Living in Kew. This key leadership role supports the Precinct Manager in the day-to-day operations of the precinct including lifestyle hospitality and wellbeing services in a professional and person-centered manner ensuring residents live a vibrant connected fulfilling lives. St. Clare is a new high end retirement living precinct. This position is full time and reports to the Precinct Manager.

About you

You will be experienced in a Retirement Living environment proficient in the coordination of services such as catering maintenance and lifestyle and wellbeing needs. Your communication problem solving and time management skills will be excellent to equip you to manage staff residents and supports.

  • Maintain a consistent on-site presence responding to residents and staff needs promptly
  • Support the Manager with daily operations including hospitality maintenance and lifestyle
  • Develop and mentor staff providing guidance when required
  • Assist the hospitality team in the service delivery of the caf restaurants and social events
  • Ensure safety of precinct attending to maintenance and cleaning as required
  • Respond and manage any emergency calls escalate as required document incidents and conduct follow upwell being checks.
  • Investigate and resolve residents complaints and issues promptly
  • Assist with a range of lifestyle and wellbeing needs act as the first point of contact for residents
  • Assist with the property tours for prospective residents assist with the settling in of new residents
  • Attend to administrative and financial requirements and reporting as required

Desirable

  • Tertiary Qualifications in business administration hospitality or aged or community services or property management
  • Familiarity with theRetirement Villages Act 1986 (Vic) aged care quality standards emergency call systems and wellness or lifestyle initiatives is advantageous
