Job Description
This role is remote eligible which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.
What youll do
- Lead all phases of complex high-risk investigations with significant legal or enterprise risk; deliver fair thorough findings and actionable recommendations to mitigate risk.
- Prepare and present clear compelling executive summaries and updates to leaders HR partners and cross-functional teams responding to questions and influencing decision-making.
- Partner cross-functionally with HR Legal Ethics Compliance and business leaders to address complex employee relations issues ensure consistent practices and drive positive cultural and business outcomes.
- Analyze case data and trends to identify root causes of workplace issues; develop and implement proactive strategies training and tools to reduce risk and enhance engagement.
- Provide real-time onsite or urgent support for high-risk situations including labor relations concerns or third-party representation requests while coaching leaders and HR partners to build ER acumen.
- 5 years of experience in Human Resources Employee Relations or an investigative environment
- 5 years of proven leadership experience(i.e. influence confidentiality communication and conflict resolution)
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience applying ER principles knowing and understanding employment laws and their applications
- Demonstrating the ability to incorporate new practices into enterprise change initiative experiences
