MilDef is in an exciting growth phase where we are developing our sales business and strengthening it with new skills experiences and perspectives. For the Nordic & Baltic region we are forming a team shaped around the competencies of both our current and future teammates a team that collaborates across borders. This is a unique opportunity to be part of something new from the very beginning.

We are recruiting several colleagues to our offices in Stockholm Oslo Copenhagen and Helsingborg. Whether you are at the start of your career or already experienced this is your chance to grow with us. The role can be tailored to your profile but what unites us is that you will play a key role in our continued journey. You will report to the Head of Sales Nordics & Baltics; this is an individual contributor role with no managerial responsibility.

At MilDef we work globally and closely with our customers to deliver rugged IT solutions for the highest defence and security demands. Our customers are chiefly located European and NATO-allied countries. Our customers span both the enterprise (B2B) and government (B2G) sectors where long-term partnerships framework agreements and complex sales processes define the way we work. We are now looking for colleagues with sharp expertise in procurement and sales within the security and defence sector or experience from the buyers side of such processes. Your insights and background will be invaluable as we strengthen our Nordics & Baltics Business Development and Sales team.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and drive business opportunities across sales partnerships and collaborations.
  • Build and develop long-term customer relationships in both new and existing markets.
  • Contribute to marketing activities through networking events and customer dialogues.
  • Work cross-functionally with colleagues in technology product development and
  • Project management to create tailored solutions.
  • Represent MilDef externally and act as an ambassador for our brand.

What you bring

  • Experience from sales or business development.
  • Background from enterprise (B2B) or government (B2G) sales is highly valued.
  • Up to date network in one or several of the Nordic Armed Forces and their procurement agencies.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to establish trust internally and externally.
  • Commercial mindset with an understanding of how to grow business.
  • Expertise in procurement processes sales within security and defence or experience from the purchasing or contracting side is considered an asset.
  • Experience from technology or the IT sector is considered an asset.
  • Flexibility and willingness to shape a new role and contribute to building a strong team.
