Location: Gurgaon India
About the role:
Are you ready to transform data into actionable insights As a Data Analytics Engineer youll be a key player in our development team designing implementing and optimising both internal and external data systems.
This role combines technical proficiency with business acumen to drive our decision-making processes. Collaborate with various teams to develop robust data solutions while ensuring data quality accessibility and security standards.
What makes you a great fit:
- Proven experience as a Data Analytics Engineer or similar role with 5 years of experience
- Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
- Proficiency in Python SQL and other programming languages used in data engineering
- Expertise in designing and implementing efficient data models and database structures
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools for data integration
- Experience with Google BigQuery data warehousing platform
- Ability to orchestrate complex data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow
- Understanding of data quality principles and techniques
- Familiarity with Azure and Google Cloud Platform for scalable data solutions
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Proficiency in setting up monitoring and logging solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies
Key responsibilities:
- Design develop and optimise ETL pipelines and data processing workflows
- Build and maintain scalable data models warehousing solutions and analytics frameworks
- Write high-quality documented code adhering to team coding standards
- Collaborate in weekly refinement and planning sessions
- Implement data validation rules and quality checks
- Create and optimise SQL queries stored procedures and database schemas
- Develop automated testing frameworks and monitoring solutions
- Work closely with Business Analysts and Operations teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Build reusable code libraries and tools
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
