Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Manager to lead an established ward team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the ongoing development of a Specialist Service within the hospital ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care and effective management of staff.
Responsibilities:

Lead and develop an established ward team.

Ensure safe staffing levels and provide excellent leadership and management.

Participate fully in the multi-disciplinary team contributing to assessment planning and evaluation of care.

Deliver direct patient care as required.

Ensure ward compliance with statutory regulations legislation and quality standards.

Provide cover as Senior Nurse on Call.
Primary Skills:
-
Proven experience leading ward teams.
-
Strong communication and organizational skills.
-
Patient-focused approach with commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
-
Experience working with young people.
-
Previous experience in a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting.
Qualifications:

Registered Nurse qualification.
-
Leadership or management certification (preferred but not required).
