Job Description
Location: Phoenix AZ or NYC NY
Contract: W2
Duration: 12 Months
Experience: 08 Years
Strong experience (8 years) as a Data Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Proficiency in core GCP data services: BigQuery Dataflow Dataproc Pub/Sub Cloud Storage.
Skilled in data modeling data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT pipeline development.
Expertise in programming and scripting languages such as Python SQL and Bash.
Experience with Apache Beam and Spark for large-scale data processing.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
Familiarity with GCP DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build Cloud Composer).
Strong understanding of data security identity and access management (IAM) and compliance.
Excellent problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification is a plus.
