Job Description
Position : Business Analyst
Location : Lansing MI Hybrid (Must be local)
Duration : 12-month contract
Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst 5 for a 12-month contract based in Lansing MI.-HYBRID
Accepting local candidates to Michigan that are within 90 minutes of Lansing ONLY. Position will be hybrid in office 2 days a week

Must Have:
- 8 years of experience gathering requirements from users:
- identifying impacted business processes
- assessing business needs
- identifying IT solution integration.
- GAP analysis
- SWOT analysis
- 6 years of experience designing technical and business requirement documentation including:
- wireframes or screen mockups
- context diagrams
- benefits realization
- business process models
- workflow diagrams
- traceability matrix
4 years of experience with Agile methodology / SCRUM processes and ceremonies including:
- Daily Scrum
- Sprint Planning
- Backlog Grooming
- Sprint Reviews
- Sprint Retrospective
- 3 years of experience working with Azure DevOps backlog management Kanban board Sprint board etc.
- 5 years of experience eliciting and decomposing requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- 4 years of experience working as a business analyst on financial systems.
- Experience writing test plans and use cases.
- Working knowledge of Systems Engineering Methodology (SEM) and Project Management Methodology (PMM)
- Senior level understanding of the secure application development lifecycle (SADLC)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
Prior experience working with State or Federal government
