Job Summary:
The Sr. Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and rebalancing assembly lines to optimize efficiency and productivity. This role involves implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives using Toyota Production System (TPS) principles to enhance manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly Line Rebalancing: Analyze current assembly line processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Develop and implement strategies to rebalance lines for optimal performance.
- Continuous Improvement (CI): Lead CI projects using TPS principles to drive process improvements reduce waste and enhance product quality.
- Process Development: Design and develop manufacturing processes for new products and modifications to existing products ensuring alignment with zero-defect and low-cost objectives.
- Standardized Work Methods: Develop and maintain standardized work methods and process documentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely completion and alignment with business goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including design quality and production to prioritize and implement improvement projects.
