Your Opportunity
We have two opportunities to join our team allowing us to connect with candidates seeking a new professional home as well as those who enjoy the variety and challenge of a shorter-term contract work.
We are actively recruiting for a permanent position and a fixed-term contract until May 2026. This fixed term contract opportunity is the result of a team members secondment to a higher role showcasing the career progression pathways available at Queensland Rail.
Our Talent Acquisition Coordinators are a crucial and collaborative part of our broader team. Together you will be accountable for providing high-level support ensuring our recruitment processes run smoothly from start to finish. This shared responsibility includes managing our contingent workforce needs and playing a vital part in Queensland Rails progress. You will join a larger team that includes the Manager Recruitment Recruitment Leads Senior Recruitment Advisers Principal Strategic Resourcing Adviser and Senior Strategic Resourcing Adviser.
In these roles the two Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be jointly responsible for a seamless recruitment process. Your shared duties will include:
Acting as the first point of contact for general recruitment queries including answering calls managing the recruitment inbox (average of at least 70 emails a day with tight deadlines) and providing recruitment policy advice.
Collaborating to engage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Working together to support with coordinating and undertaking activities for volume/bulk recruitment campaigns including assessment centres booking of various testing requirements maintenance of tracking spreadsheets whilst ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Provide high level recruitment and administrative support to the Recruitment Team regarding end-to-end recruitment activities.
Jointly manage internal movement system administration and issuing Letters of Offer.
Coordinate interviews and other assessment processes with various stakeholders.
Administer psychometric testing and review results.
What youll bring
Proven experience in a similar role where youve honed your skills in supporting recruitment professionals throughout the entire hiring process.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate to manage a joint workload and achieve common goals.
Confidence to liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders on business matters.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude to ensure a positive experience for applicants and stakeholders throughout their recruitment journey.
High level of initiative self-directed work style and a solution orientated mindset.
Effective time management with a high level of attention to detail.
Strong skills knowledge and experience working with databases spreadsheeting and document formatting.
Strengths in the ability to prioritise multiple administrative duties related to recruitment and talent acquisition activities.
