Job Description

Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Pay Rate Range: $33.65 $50.48/hr.

Employment Type: Contract

Estimated End Date: January 2026

Schedule: Full-time 1st shift (Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite 2 days remote normal business hours)

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to work with our client a worldwide designer manufacturer and integrator of precision control components this role you will support recruitment activities for the Space and Defense Group partnering with hiring managers to deliver high-quality candidates and ensuring an excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring process. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Manage a high-volume requisition load across manufacturing and technical functions.
  • Proactively source and screen candidates; conduct phone interviews to qualify applicants.
  • Prepare extend and negotiate offers.
  • Compose and post job advertisements to attract qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate and attend on-site hiring events; represent Moog at local job fairs and industry networking events.
  • Build relationships with technical vocational schools and workforce organizations to expand candidate pipelines.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates in the Applicant Tracking System (Workday).
  • Communicate consistently with hiring teams and business partners throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support talent initiatives by attending town halls business update meetings and other recruiting-related activities.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience including high-volume requisition management.
  • Proven experience recruiting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with business partners at all levels.
  • Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to act with urgency and manage competing priorities.
  • Resourceful with a creative ability to attract top talent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Workday ATS.
  • Strong background in talent acquisition for technical/engineering roles.
  • Prior experience leading or coordinating hiring events.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
