The City of Urbandale is accepting applications for Part-Time Firefighter EMT/Paramedic. Under the general direction of the Lieutenant the Firefighter EMT/Paramedic performs fire suppression rescue operations fire prevention activities (e.g. public education fire inspections etc.) and patient care in emergent and non-emergent settings. Firefighter EMT/Paramedics also perform routine vehicle tool and facility maintenance on a daily basis.

July 1 2025 - June 302026Part-Time Hourly Pay Rates:Part-Time Firefighter EMT/Paramedicsare required to work a minimum of 36 hours per month.Shifts may be 12 or 24 hours during the day overnight (sleeping quarters provided) and weekends.
