Part Time Janitor Cleaner

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will perform cleaning functions including cleaning offices & washrooms washing floors cleaning sinks polish floors cleaning carpets and general housekeeping duties

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Clean rooms hallways lobbies lounges corridors stairways and other work areas.
• Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures.
• Sweep mop scrub and wax hallways floors and stairs.
• Clean rugs carpets furniture and draperies using a vacuum cleaner.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Wash windows walls doors and ceilings.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
• Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
• Abide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals.
• May be assigned and coordinate special or ad hoc projects as needed.
• Keep cleaning closets stocked

Qualifications :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) is required. - Required
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a cleaning or housekeeping related role is required. - Required

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Successfully passing a criminal background check before his/her first day of employment
• Must have and maintain a clean and valid drivers license.
• Must be able to read understand and follow work instructions in a safe accurate and timely manner.
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced hightly professional environment.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and composition.
• Ability to work well with others & independently.
• Proven time management skills and a strong attentions to detail.
• Works well under pressure.
• Extended hours and shiftwork may be required from time to time.
• Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Ensures full compliance with the companys Health and Safety Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct policies.

Pay Range: $20.00-23.00/ hour
