The UK Sports Institute and Badminton England have an exciting opportunity for a full time Strength & Conditioning Coach working at the National Badminton Centre in Milton Keynes.
You will be an integral member of a small highly focussed interdisciplinary performance team collaborating with coaches and support staff spanning various science and medicine disciplines.
Location:
Badminton England functions out of the National Badminton Centre (in Milton Keynes) where players train both on court and in the gym whilst receiving world class coaching and support services. Delivery will be in person with the possibility of occasional remote working to meet the needs of the sport.
Role requirements:
A typical week would be Monday to Friday although there may be a need for weekend work as well as attendance at identified camps or competitions.

A snapshot of the role
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly focussed performance team and contribute towards the development and success of Badminton England. Reporting to the Performance Support Lead you will positively impact player availability training quality and playing performance.
We are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified strength and conditioning coach who can be proactive whilst working collaboratively in a demanding performance environment within an interdisciplinary support team. It is important to be approachable accessible and visible in this role.
For you to be successful you will bring energy curiosity and enthusiasm to the role have an agile approach to support player development and be able to solve problems collaboratively. Prior experience of badminton is not essential but a passion to learn about the sport and identify opportunities is.
