Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level We are seeking a collaborative and innovative Site Project Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in transforming our site through strategic capital improvement this influential position you will partner with plant leadership to deliver projects that drive operational excellence utilizing your expertise to develop robust project scopes budgets schedules and risk assessments. As a key member of our engineering team you will have the opportunity to lead meaningful initiatives from concept to completion ensuring every project is completed to the highest standards of safety quality and efficiency. What youll be doing.
- Lead and manage plant engineering projects including equipment installations process improvements and facility expansions ensuring timely and effective project delivery.
- Develop and implement the sites 5-year capital plan with a focus on safety obsolescence management asset life extension and driving technological innovation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clearly define project requirements scope deliverables and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create monitor and report on project plans schedules budgets and progress including conducting feasibility studies risk assessments and identifying solutions to overcome challenges.
- Supervise and technically support project teams to ensure compliance with specifications standards and safety regulations; resolve project issues and bottlenecks promptly.
- Prepare detailed project documentation and reports; review and validate technical drawings and manuals; travel as needed to support project delivery and foster a culture of high service proactive problem-solving and respect.
What youll need to be successful.
- Minimum 3-5 years project management and people leadership experience in FMCG with proven contractor high-risk work budget management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Mechatronics or related field).
- Strong initiative prioritization negotiation and influencing capabilities.
- Expertise in lean manufacturing (TPM Six Sigma MDI) and knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Project advanced Excel and Office 365; high computer literacy and analytical ability.
- Knowledge of energy and carbon reduction technologies; effective report writing and presentation skills.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) talent triangle skills to implement Project Management standards.
- PMP certification desirable.
