Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Skyline is seeking a leader for the position of Sales Manager. This Department Manager level position reports directly to the President. Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leadership role in promoting Nucors Mission ensuring safety is instilled as a value an appropriate focus on community & environmental stewardship and a proven focus on profitability.
Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan and sales strategy for the division that is aligned with the Nucor Enterprise Commercial Strategy.
Developing team members through building relationships training and individual coaching.
Analyze data and utilize commercial experience to think and lead strategically.
Work collaboratively within the Nucor Skyline Leadership team to motivate and inspire the entire division.
*Internal and external applicants will be considered concurrently.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Five years combined experience in commercial sales and/or marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Four-year degree in Business or Marketing.
2. Three or more years of Sales/Commercial Leadership in heavy industrial or Civil/Industrial Construction environment.
3. Willing to relocate within Nucor as future advancement opportunities arise.
