About Your Workplace
The UX Copywriter will be responsible for crafting clear concise intuitive and engaging copy that enables an intuitive and delightful user experience across our eCommerce platform. This role is an advocate and the voice for Miele UX copy it involves creating copy for user interfaces customer facing copy for onsite user flows error messages help articles and other customer-facing content.
Your responsibilities:
- Initiate & leverage user research to understand our customers needs and preferences.
- Through a defined UX content vision write clear concise and engaging copy for user interfaces product descriptions and help articlesthat uses acohesive language and a unified voice across products and empathy logic and hard data to inform content choices.
- Establish best practices and UX copy strategy to ensure cohesive product narratives.
- Provide content recommendations that include the right words and complementary data.
- Regularly review and update existing copy to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
- Follow and contribute to the development of our brand voice and style guide.
- Collaborate withLanguage Specialiststo translateyour ideas to a local audience backed upwith sufficient context (conceptual and visual).
- Collaborate with UX designers product managerslegal marketingandengineersto ensure copy fits seamlessly into the overall user experience.
- Provide direction and mentorship to other writers and educate cross-functional partners on the role of UX writing and content strategy throughout the product development process.
Your profile:
- Bachelors degree in English Journalism Communications or a related field. Degree in UX design Human-Computer Interaction is a plus.
- Minimum 5 yearsincopywritingor a related field.
- A portfolio of work that demonstrates writing skills and ability to create user-centric copy.
- Familiarity with digital trends and the in eCommerceis aplus.
- Strongcommunicatorwitha keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to conduct user research analyze data and apply insights to copywriting.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Native English speaker working proficiency in German is a plus.
