Job Mission
As a Junior UX Writer youll support our product teams to make smart energy simple and understandable. Youll craft clear user-friendly copy in English that guides users through the Tibber app from their first welcome message to their latest energy-saving insight. Youll work together with our Senior UX Writer Product Designers and User Researcher as a vital part of the Product Design team.
What youll do
Write for our product: Youll write clear simple and user-friendly copy in English for the Tibber app and website from buttons and error messages to full-screen flows. Youll partner with our Storytellers (our local wordsmiths) to ensure your UX copy is successfully localized to Swedish Norwegian German and Dutch.
Collaborate daily: Youll work closely with designers researchers product managers and developers to solve user problems and create cohesive experiences not just through words but by suggesting improvements to flows structure and interaction where it benefits the user.
Ensure consistency: Youll use our style guide and vocabulary list to make sure our copy is consistent across all touchpoints.
Help improve our content: Youll review and refine existing copy in the app tackling parts of our product that need a writers touch. Youll also help keep our style guide and vocabulary list up to date.
What were looking for
Strong eye for detail: You spot a spelling mistake from miles away and care about the details of writing from capitalization to punctuation. You enjoy creating consistency.
User advocate: You step into the users shoes with empathy. You meet users where they are with accessible inclusive and user-friendly copy.
Collaborative spirit: Youre a team player who enjoys working with different stakeholders and integrates their diverse input into coherent copy.
Clear & concise writer: You can untangle complex information and turn it into simple easy-to-understand copy that helps users achieve their goals.
Language proficiency: Youre proficient in written English. It doesnt need to be your native language but you can write clear nuanced and grammatically correct English copy with ease. Speaking one of our brand languages (Swedish Norwegian German or Dutch) is a plus.
Experience level: Youre at the start of your UX writing career. Whether you have 12 years of professional experience or youve just completed a hands-on UX writing course we encourage you to apply. Having worked in Figma before is a plus.
