Were looking for a committed and compassionate Educational & Developmental Psychologist or Senior Social Worker to jointhe Wellbeing & Engagement Team at MacKillop Educations Specialist School P12 a vibrant learning community grounded in Catholic ethos and values. Reporting directly to the Principal youll be part of a team that believes in the transformative power of education to unlock every students potential.

This is a Fixed-Term Full-Time opportunity based in Caulfield VIC within our MacKillop Education Caulfield (MacKillop Specialist School). This position is for Term 4 2025 with potential to extend. The position reports to the Campus Principal.

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children young people and their families.
  • Practice knowledge relevant to working with students and families who have experienced complex trauma and the ability to provide therapeutic assessments and trauma informed interventions.
  • A well-developed understanding of social/emotional and cognitive disabilities and an ability to assist others to understand their associated implications.
  • Psychology qualification (Master or Doctorate level) preferred or a relevant degree in Social Work.
