Job Description
Expert SAP Functional Consultant position at the forefront of global Group IT solutions
Work with cutting-edge SAP S4/HANA and EWM technologies
Multi-module expertise with ECC/R3 WM and cloud-native platforms
- Relevant IT Degree or 10 years industry working experience
Must have experience/understanding:
- SAP ECC/R3 - Core system expertise
- SAP S4/HANA - Advanced platform knowledge
- SAP EWM - Extended Warehouse Management proficiency
- SAP WM - Warehouse Management module experience
- Backend Development - Java Spring Boot Framework API design custom extensions
- Frontend Technologies - HTML CSS Velocity XML
- Database Management - Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Testing Frameworks - Unit testing with JUnit
- Containerization - Docker container image building and usage
- Operations Management - Grafana Cloud ITSM Incident Management Change Management
- Version Control - Git including GitHub Enterprise
- CI/CD Pipelines - GitHub Actions for build and deployment
- Cloud Platforms - Azure Terraform Virtual Machines Linux
- Build Tools - Maven experience
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
Knowledge about:
- SAP WM & EWM Module Configuration - Advanced configuration skills
- Test Automation - Tosca or similar tools experience
- Development Documentation - Comprehensive documentation skills
- SAP Module Analysis - Issue analysis and resolution capabilities
- Process Configuration - SAP Module configuration expertise
- Functional Documentation - Maintenance and updates of SAP documentation
- Authorization Management - End-user role analysis and scoping
- Testing Excellence - Unit Integration and System Integration security testing
- Solution Innovation - Proactive business process improvement proposals
- Team Support - Solutions-based approach to functional team issues
- Agile Methodology - AWM and Agile Tool Chain knowledge
- Security Compliance - Group IT Security Instructions adherence
- SAP Development Standards - Compliance with SAP Development guidelines
- Leadership Skills - Problem-solving teamwork and independent delivery capabilities
- Communication Excellence - Technical and non-technical stakeholder engagement
- Pressure Management - Ability to work under pressure with conflict management skills

Working on Parts Logistics and Warehouse Management solutions:
- Requirements Management - Workshop business requirements prepare AS-IS/TO-BE documents obtain Business Blueprint sign-offs
- Technical Integration - ABAP debugging understanding for development/enhancements
- SAP Configuration - EWM WM and MM module configuration
- Testing Excellence - Planning preparation documentation and execution of comprehensive tests
- Module Integration - Integration testing with PP PM SD MM modules
- Interface Management - Understanding IDOC and RFC processing
- Migration Support - MM and EWM object migration and cut-over assistance
- User Enablement - User manual preparation and business process owner training
- Go-live Excellence - Preparation and post go-live support delivery
- Stakeholder Engagement - Client interaction through meetings calls and emails
- Ticket Management - Handle tickets and tasks within defined SLAs
- Production Support - System troubleshooting and support provision
- Change Management - Configuration changes execution and analysis
- Production Resolution - Analysis and resolution of production support calls
- Change Request Management - CR raising and functional specification writing
- Test Data Management - Prepare test data for CR testing and execute regression testing
- Cross-functional Collaboration - Interaction with other module consultants
- User Interface Solutions - Transactional solution delivery
