Roche Pharma (Switzerland) Ltd. is the Swiss affiliate of Roche and its approximately 160 employees are responsible for ensuring that patients in Switzerland have access to Roches innovative portfolio of medicines. As an Intern in Communications & Public Affairs (m/f/d) you will play a vital role in supporting our internal and external communication activities You will work closely with the team to help create and distribute compelling content manage internal and external communications channels and assist in executing various communication strategies. A special focus will be on your active involvement in key strategic communication projects designed to enhance the companys reputation and its engagement within Switzerland.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Content Creation for strategic initiatives and beyond: You will assist in developing engaging content for various communication channels (e.g. social media website internal newsletters) including research writing articles (e.g. highlighting Roches local presence and contributions).
Social Media Management: You will support the management of our social media accounts by creating posts (particularly in support of key communication initiatives)
Internal Communications: You will contribute to internal communication efforts by assisting in the development and distribution of company-wide announcements newsletters and updates (e.g. informing employees about key strategic initiatives). You will help to organize employee events.
Branding and Messaging: You will assist in maintaining brand consistency across all communication materials and help develop key messages particularly for significant company communications ensuring they are effectively conveyed over various channels.
Support in Public Affairs Activities: You will gain insights and provide support for Public Affairs activities aimed at shaping the dialogue with relevant stakeholders in the Swiss healthcare system.
Your Profile:
You are currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program or have recently (within a year) graduated in Communications Public Relations Journalism Marketing Business Administration Economics or a related field.
You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English with a keen eye for detail.
Creativity and a natural ability for compelling storytelling are key strengths; you can adeptly tailor your writing style to diverse audiences (e.g. the general public specific stakeholders for key company initiatives).
You are digitally savvy proficient with common social media platforms and content management systems and show a keen interest in exploring emerging digital communication trends and tools.
A proactive and curious individual you are eager to learn contribute fresh ideas and take initiative on assigned projects.
You are a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills capable of building relationships and interacting confidently with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
You are well-organized able to prioritize effectively manage multiple tasks and maintain a solution-oriented mindset even when faced with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and the strategic role communications plays in this sector would be an advantage.
