Job Description
This role is for a Surgical Technologist in an acute care hospital setting. The Surgical Technologist will assist surgical teams during operations ensuring a sterile environment and providing necessary instruments and supplies. The position requires a minimum of three years of experience and may involve floating between units within the hospital.
- Assisting the surgical team with instrumentation supplies and equipment.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Sterilizing and maintaining surgical instruments and equipment.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
- Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.
- May be required to float to other units within the hospital.
- Current BLS certification.
- Active Surgical Technologist license (or equivalent) in the state of employment.
- Advanced surgical techniques proficiency.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must submit RTO restrictions at the time of application.
- May be required to work at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro.
