The opportunity

Hitachi Energy is a global leader in energy transmission and distribution the field of Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) we develop pioneering solutions for a sustainable and reliable energy supply. Our Swiss sites play a key role in global GIS production and innovation.

Join Hitachi Energy and lead the strategic development of the Industrial Engineering Team in the GIS area. The focus is on optimizing production processes introducing new technologies transferring products and supporting the industrialization of innovative products.

How youll make an impact

• Responsibility for the planning implementation and optimization of production processes and layouts

• Introduction of new technologies and automation solutions to increase efficiency

• Support in the industrialization of new GIS products (e.g. EconiQ)

• Collaboration with R&D Production Quality and global engineering teams

• Analysis of production data to identify potential for improvement

• Ensuring compliance with lean principles occupational safety and environmental standards

• Budget responsibility and strategic resource planning

• Responsibility for transferring products to other GIS locations

• As a People Manager you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines

Your background

• Completed degree in industrial engineering mechanical engineering electrical engineering industrial engineering or similar

• Several years of experience in industrial engineering ideally in a high-voltage or GIS environment

• Leadership experience in a technical field with interdisciplinary teams

• In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing process automation and digitalization

• Experience with SAP MES systems and production data analysis

• Strong communication and project management skills

• Fluent German and English

Dein Hintergrund

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Industrial Engineering Maschinenbau Elektrotechnik Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen oder vergleichbar

• Mehrjhrige Erfahrung im Industrial Engineering idealerweise im Hochspannungs- oder GIS-Umfeld

• Fhrungserfahrung in einem technischen Bereich mit interdisziplinren Teams

• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Lean Manufacturing Prozessautomatisierung und Digitalisierung

• Erfahrung mit SAP MES-Systemen und Produktionsdatenanalyse

• Starke Kommunikations- und Projektmanagementfhigkeiten

• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
