This Position reports to:
Product Line Manager EMF
In this role you will have the opportunity to manage the marketing of ABBs offerings to targeted market segments and oversee the offerings throughout their lifecycle in alignment with market needs and the strategy and targets of the division/product group/business line. Each day you will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth of an offering. You will also demonstrate your expertise by supporting business results through managing every step of the offer lifecycle including development launch go-to-market maintenance pricing and profitability.

This role contributes to theEMF product lineBL InstrumentationDivision Measurement and AnalyticsProcess Automationglobally. Key stakeholders include Product Managers R&D Engineers Factory Planning Engineering Sales Experts and Customer Support.
Main responsibilities:
- Leading market intelligence analysis and identifying portfolio gaps in relation to competitors and emerging market opportunities.
- Owning the technical and market specifications for the offering and defining a business plan that supports sustainable growth. This includes leading customer needs and value analysis planning the roadmap to maximize value and monitoring portfolio performance.
- Managing the offer lifecycle by analyzing current offerings defining and tracking performance metrics and making decisions regarding obsolescence and end-of-life to ensure alignment with current and future market demands.
- Setting targets monitoring offering costs and providing input to operational functions (e.g. Supply Chain Management Engineering Production) to enhance competitiveness and profitability.
Qualifications (mandatory):
- Education:Bachelors degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical Mechanical or Instrumentation); an MBA or equivalent business qualification is a plus.
- Experience:Minimum of 810 years of experience in flow measurement with a strong understanding of segments and applications for Electromagnetic Flowmeters. At least 3 years in a global product management market development or sales enablement role.
- Application Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of both niche (e.g. chemical dosing desalination mining slurries) and mainstream (e.g. water distribution wastewater treatment) electromagnetic flowmeter applications.
- Technical Acumen:Proven track record in managing NPI (New Product Introduction) working in agile environments and overseeing cost management and production processes for Electromagnetic Flowmeters.
- Analytical & Strategic Skills:Ability to synthesize market and customer data into actionable growth strategies and product positioning decisions.
