Job Description

THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support the legal department of a global travel & tourism company. This assignment will focus primarily on transactional legal support with an emphasis on M&A activity. The successful candidate will play a key role in drafting and negotiating contracts advising on legal aspects of corporate transactions and collaborating with cross-functional teams across jurisdictions. Fluency in English is essential for this role.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide legal support on corporate transactions particularly mergers and acquisitions including structuring due diligence and execution.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on strategic planning risk assessment and transaction-related legal issues.
  • Manage or participate in due diligence and post-transaction integration efforts.
  • Collaborate with external counsel regarding transaction documentation and legal analyses.
  • Draft review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts in coordination with business units and regional legal teams.
  • Support the Head of Corporate M&A on a wide range of corporate legal matters.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Qualified legal professional with experience either in-house or at a top-tier law firm ideally in an international environment.
  • Proven expertise in corporate and commercial law with a strong track record in managing international M&A transactions.
  • Familiarity with real estate development public land concessions or similar areas is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (French Italian or Spanish) are a plus.
  • Strong drafting skills excellent communication abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
