As a Continuous Improvement Manager (m/w/d) you will directly report to our Operational Manager and you will join our local operations team in Vernier (Switzerland).

You will lead the execution of Continuous Improvement programs within the site/function to embed best practices promote a continuous improvement mindset and refine non-value added activities.

In this exciting role you will :

  • Business Alignment
    • Contribute to the design of site strategies and deployment plans.
    • Identify and measure improvement opportunities; develop action plans accordingly.
    • Lead or support specific business improvement projects.
    • Coach project teams on applying Lean and Six Sigma tools during project execution phases.
    • Guide implementation progress of assigned CI projects monitoring resource plans project team accountabilities change requests deadlines milestones change management roadmaps communications and manage periodic updates.
  • People Engagement
    • Support in deploying CI Awareness workshops to all teams (e.g. CI basics training).
    • Help everyone to share Good Practices (e.g. through active communication newsletter).
    • Train coach and inspire teams in applying relevant CI tools and methodologies for improving Processes and Asset Efficiencies.
    • Coach project teams in applying root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Capability Building
    • Follow up of CI capability building governance at team/shop floor level.
    • Develop people by delivering training and mentoring for basic CI methodologies.
    • Training includes: CI Basics (5S 8Wastes Problem Solving) Yellow Visual Performance Management CI Maturity Assessment.
  • Performance Management
    • Set up and help implement daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly performance management reviews at shift department and site level including the definition of lagging and leading indicators.
    • Continuous Improvement Maturity Assessment (CIMA).
    • Support the local operations teams to prepare the CIMA Assessment and follow up with the teams based on CIMA outcome.
    • Follow up of Problem Solving building governance at team/shop floor level.
    • Support process owners on development of CI related work standards.
    • Help teams to apply and comply with work standards (e.g. SOPs OPLs).
    • Implement KPI and BI reports for different processes.
    • Perform data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.

Your success profile includes:

  • Master or Engineering Degree (Chemical Mechanical Industrial);
  • Lean Six Sigma Black or Master Black Belt certification;
  • Overall work experience of 6 to 10 years in continuous improvement in an operational environment;
  • Experience with BI tools and data analysis tools;
  • Results on leading improvement projects and coaching;
  • Training experience with operators supervisors shift leaders and departmental managers;
  • Fluent in French and excellent command of oral and written English;
  • Project & Change Management skills.
