This role supports the launch of priority assets across top international markets and contributes to establishing Novartis as a leader in the relevant disease area.
Job Responsibilities:
HSPD Initiatives:
- Drive and enable the delivery of HSPD initiatives.
- Partner with HSPD team and specific asset teams to implement impactful HSPD strategies.
- Lead tracking of the implementation of HSPD activities across key markets.
- Liaise with the Launch Excellence & Execution team to ensure robust launch execution tracking for HSPD activities.
- Facilitate agile HSPD teams within defined therapeutic areas.
Healthcare System Partnerships:
- Collaborate with Asset Leaders to ensure the development and implementation of effective and innovative commercial strategies and programs aligned with the asset needs.
- Support new commercial models in alignment with the asset strategy in priority markets.
- Support new engagement approaches and frameworks in partnership with Medical Affairs Access and Regions/Countries.
- Design and implement key experiments and pilot new models to gather insights on effectiveness learnings and overall impact on the asset.
- Understand the dynamics of the field force and key account managers in key markets and how to best maximize product access and commercial potential of HSPD tactics for the asset.
- Support the development of Healthcare System Partnerships capabilities in partnership with the HSPD capabilities team.
Precision Diagnostics:
- Drive awareness adoption availability and access to testing and shape the precision diagnostic ecosystem for the asset.
- Support an asset to develop end-to-end International commercial diagnostic disease and brand testing strategy and tactics.
- Support the development of Precision Diagnostics Launch capabilities in partnership with the HSPD capabilities team to ensure diagnostic launch readiness for the asset.

- Minimum: Masters Degree in Life Sciences (PhD MD PharmD)
- Desirable: MBA or RPh
- Must have 5 years of pharmaceutical commercial experience successfully driving growth of products/brands through innovative commercial partnerships.
- A track record in developing new commercial models in healthcare and approaches towards accelerating patient/customer adoption and uptake.
- Experience in systems thinking combining pragmatic understanding of healthcare business models with clinical reimbursement and access criteria ability to think within as well as beyond the system.
- Experience with commercializing novel biomarkers and executing drug/diagnostics launches. Understanding of BD&L for Diagnostics in Biotech and/or Pharmaceuticals.
- Prior experience with drug/diagnostic product development & commercialization including executing drug/diagnostics launches.
- Able to establish credibility and influence across a range of diverse stakeholders in a matrix organization to drive change.
- Entrepreneurial and growth mindset.
- Able to learn quickly and adapt in a complex environment apply learning and remain resilient; know how to navigate the matrix to drive change.
Preferred Requirements:
- Prior experience and success in developing relationships and partnering with Healthcare system/Diagnostic stakeholders and key influencers.
