how you will contribute
In this role you will take full ownership of critical legal and compliance matters for our global operations headquartered in the Netherlands. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will be essential to protecting our companys reputation and integrity. You will provide legal support to the legal professionals in the team helping them to be more efficient and effective. You will also assist in ensuring compliance with policies laws and regulations and act as a first point of contact for other global departments and the legal departments of the other Randstad Group companies worldwide and global business. your typical day includes
While no two days will be exactly the same your tasks will vary based on team needs and how you manage your responsibilities. You can expect to connect with many colleagues both within the global legal team and with other global functions (e.g. tax treasury business risk & audit financial reporting) at the head office as well as with legal teams in various markets. While some days allow for remote work you are expected to work at the office for at least half the time to foster team connection and collaboration.

The main responsibilities for the professional support lawyer position are:
Corporate housekeeping & entity management: taking ownership over our legal entity management system in collaboration with local Randstad lawyers
AML and stakeholder compliance: acting as the first point of contact for global KYC and UBO requests from clients suppliers banks
Stakeholder management: directly liaising with notaries and other service providers to manage legalizations and corporate secretarial matters.
Corporate documentation: taking ownership of corporate templates drafting guarantees and shareholders- and board resolutions of Dutch entities
Legal research: providing actionable legal insights on emerging regulations and case law.
Compliance: supporting compliance reporting and training playing a central role in protecting our global reputation
AI and Legal Technology: leverage available tools (Gemini/Google Workspace) to make sure you and the team work as efficient as possible

your background
You have experience in corporate legal & compliance work in a law firm or in-house and are able to work independently in an international environment and in a matrix organization. You enjoy collaboration and a supporting role and pay close attention to detail.

The global legal team currently consisting of 26 people. The team is headed by the group general counsel and has five focus areas: corporate compliance data protection tech & procurement employment. It is a very diverse team in terms of nationalities age and background and is characterized by an open and friendly atmosphere. You will report to the Director Compliance & Integrity.
