Job Description

Are you an experienced Physiotherapist looking to join a dynamic interdisciplinary rehabilitation team

Do you have a passion for managing a varied fast stream rehabilitation case load
This is the job for you.

In this role you will be required to:

Provide comprehensive Physiotherapy rehabilitation services to inpatients and outpatients of varied diagnostic groups.

Deliver excellent clinical services related to assessment treatment planning and evidence based practice

Participate in program development and quality improvement activities within the Allied Health Department

Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and professional development programs

Provide supervision and mentoring to junior staff and students

At Dorset Rehabilitation we offer an extensive range of inpatient and outpatient services in various specialties including orthopaedics neurology cardiac falls and balance hydrotherapy rehab in the home and pain management. We have a strong commitment to the provision of evidence-based practice and excellence in the delivery of care to our patients.

Selection Criteria:

Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent

Current AHPRA registration

Excellent clinical practice skills in rehabilitation assessment and intervention.

Experience in neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation

Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Excellent organisation and time management skills

Interest in developing pain management skills

Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork
