Purpose

This role manages functional and non-functional requirements into design to reach efficient and maintainable solutions that address the customers requirements and optimize IDEMIAs business value.

Key Missions

Designs and promotes information technology solutions

Works closely with the sales team to identify external clients needs pains and business requirements

Translates such specifications into viable and profitable technological solutions

Collects and presents project objectives technical requirements schedules deliverables and cost estimates roles and responsibilities

Works in conjunctions with the client the development sales and marketing and product teams to reach at the recommended solution and provides direct support in meetings and presentations

Presents recommended solution to client for validation and improvements

Maintains up to date knowledge of technological concepts and applications to initiate enhanced solutions

Leads and designs the solution for complex viable opportunities using the organizations products and custom solutions

Pitches and promotes majority of the organizations portfolio

Demonstrates expertise in a one of the organizations market or product

Job Summary

Were looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead solution design and technical strategy for innovation projects. Youll define system architectures that integrate AI biometrics and real-time data technologies ensuring they meet performance security and regulatory needs.

This role bridges business goals with technical execution guiding teams in building scalable secure and interoperable systems across cloud and edge environments.

Key Responsibilities

Define and lead solution architecture across border control and identity systems.
Translate business and operational needs into secure scalable technical designs.
Lead system integration infrastructure planning and data flow design.
Support implementation by guiding engineering teams and ensuring alignment.
Evaluate new technologies for strategic fit and innovation potential.
Engage with clients partners and stakeholders to align with standards and compliance (e.g. ICAO IATA GDPR).

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
Experience in design and implementation of AI solutions involving areas such as Computer Vision Large Language Models (LLM) Generative AI or Agentic AI.
7 years of experience in software/system architecture including team leadership.
Strong background in distributed systems cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and API design.
Experience in identity biometrics or secure access systems.
Strong understanding of system security privacy and integration at scale.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred

Experience with public-sector or defense-related systems.
Familiarity with AI/ML computer vision or IoT.
